Abstract: The objective of this study is to examine the measurement equivalence of commonly-used paranoia scales across social determinants of health and racial/ethnic identity. Additionally, relations among paranoia measures and other social determinants of health will be assessed. We will evaluate the measurement invariance of the scales across native language, education, occupational status, income, birth county, generational status, gender, and age. Further, we plan to examine the relations among these measures and other social determinants of health including major discrimination, everyday discrimination, food insecurity, housing insecurity, acculturation, access to and utilization of mental health treatment, and strength of ethnic identity.
